Title: All in Flight.
By: Lady De Winter
Date: May 13 2005.

The most brilliant of pains waken me from slumber.
An echoless groan seeps through the walls…
in ache to scream, to shake from internal pain.
All silent, unheard...

A fluid of nightmare passes through my eyes.
Am I dreaming, or am I still alive?
Fearfulness quickens into me.
I leave this life placed in front of me...

The coldest hands grasp me tight
into the stars, the dark of night.
I'm pulled away from my living, my life.
Fragile in the arms of Death...

Oh how I wish it were real.
If only I could fly with them from sky to sky.
Soul upon soul I would steal.
Till' every punishing heart would die.

And maybe my wrongs would be right.
With Death's dark angels I would fight.
You’re so certain of a miserable existence.
But then you'll pose great resistance...
When it's your time to die...
A recent poem. It isn't too fabulous, but it is decent and came with a thought I had while walking home...
