So it has been nearly TWO months since I have updated anything on DA. I apologize. I've been busy with Cons, visiting friends, work, finding new work, a relationship, blah blah blah dsahkdlsal.

So to sum it all up quite quickly.

LOVE
So... just to gush a bit.
I've been seeing someone now since the beginning of August. We met awhile before hand at a friend's Graduation party at Ethel's, but due to me looking like a miserable bitch and having some ex baggage following me around we didn't really 'talk'. A few weeks later I attended a friend's birthday bash at the bar, where, yet again, this lovely man was also. I looked a lot cheerier than our last meeting and we did get to talk a bit. Then I took my leave, with my lovely drunk and gave him an awkward side-hug goodbye. About a week later we started talking a bit more and I met up with him, his sister, and his friend at another bar outing where it was dead so it was more or less a chance to get to know each other better. Long story short we arranged an actual 'date' for the next Friday, hungout a bit the Wednesday before and we've now been together ever since. I am quite happy this time around, he makes me happy in all kinds of ways and loves me for me. So it's definitely relieving. /endgush

WORK!!
Oh work how you bother me. So alas I am completely at the point in my 3 year-job holding that I actually HATE my job to pieces. I don't know many of the people I work with anymore (they all leave in a few weeks here and there), my boss wants to leave, and the customers are getting cheaper and cheaper. So now with no school on my priority list for the next year or so, I'm looking for fulltime work. I've been searching since July and let me tell you it is NOT easy. I've applied literally EVERYWHERE in town and out of town and have only had a few interviews here and there. I am hoping to find something soon, and I don't care what, so long as I am not cooking.

CONS!
So I attended Otakuthon in early August and had a fun time hanging out with old friends, making new friends and generally just having a blast. My mind, of course, was preoccupied with a new relationship so I should've had more fun than I did, but I still had a LOT of fun.
FAN EXPO!!!
So I was a little scared to see how Fan Expo would go this year after 2009's big LINECON adventure. This year was AMAZING, the security, staff, and volunteers were up to date with information, friendly, and helpful. There was no problems ANY of the days to get in and browse around.
Thursday I did some shopping around with my bro Jamie to pick up some quick deals and such before the busy-crap happened on the rest of the weekend. I picked up a few small things here and there, saw some more friends and got arrangements done for Hoteling.
I got to meet Tom Felton (for my sister) and get a photo op with him. I also met Elvira (BOOB SQUEEZE while I moved in for a picture) and did my photo op with her and got an autograph. I squeed retardedly as I was so pleased. I also got a lovely autograph from Tom Savini along with him and his lady friend's boob compliments. I ran into Robert Englund later as well who was quite nice, as was William Shatner (elevator sharing!) But my God does he have a big booty now.
Unfortunately on the Friday I was tripped my another cosplayer (Thor) when he pulled his cape out from under my foot and I smashed my knee on concrete. So for much of the Friday evening I was MIA to recover. Saturday I spent the morning with as PH and the remainder of the day with as Morrigan with her as Q-bee! We had a lot of fun, got some free food from some very nice people, and many a pictures. Naturally being in heels and awkward large costumes for us both by the end of the day we headed back to the Hotel for some R n R. We did a lot of foot soaking and chit chatting before the rest of the clan arrived and party-hardied. I unfortunately, conked out early because of massive knee agony.
Sunday I quickly threw on Aphrodite IX where we checked out soon after and most headed to the Con. I spent much of the day in line for Tom Felton for my sister which was INSANE, but he was a nice kid, kind of flirtatious, but nice. Afterwards I booked it back to the hotel to change, pick up my things and get my bus home.

UPDATES:
Due to money-saving and such I think I'll only be going to 3-4 Cons come 2012. I'll be hitting up Con-G naturally, likely Wizard World if I am not in ENGLAND, Anime North, and Fan Expo. Lots of costume fixing to be done this year as well to avoid mass-spending on new costumes since I need to save for a new vehicle, my own place, and SCHOOLING.

I spent a lot of my summer driving to far off lands to visit friends, vacation, and have fun. I drove to Parry Sound, Innisfil, Barrie, Toronto (DOWNTOWN), Scarborough, and so on.
